B2B Marketing Automation software firm Act-On recently announced that it acquired HIPAA and ISO 27001 certifications. These certifications will enable the company to provide its users an edge with security information and enhanced usability across various industry verticals.
Act-On has inculcated privacy protection in its marketing automation platform to ensure that any medical information critical to a patient’s security would be fully protected by the HIPAA compliance feature.
Act-On has also received ISO 27001 security compliance framework, which diligently protects employee and user data. The company, which caters to customers across small and medium-scale businesses globally, claims that it intends to acquire SOC 2 compliance certification for its data protection.
According to analyst Manakh Phukon, the new security certifications will allow Act-On to further secure patient information and add an extra layer of security to protect its proprietary brand information. This enhanced protection will help Act-One stay compliant across all industries, including healthcare, and gain a competitive advantage over its market peers. Users would be able to protect their databases from various types of threats. The new security certification will enable users to store their brand data in a seamless manner and set firewall protocols to counter cyber-attacks effectively.
